About

My name is Shera Lee Eshmade. I was born in South Africa and live a richly blessed, happy life. My parents nurtured my love for travel from a young age by sending me to Brazil as a Rotary Exchange Student. After a year exploring brilliant Brazil I was hooked and now travel whenever I can. I am a University of Johannesburg graduate, with an Honours Degree in Marketing Communications. During this time I worked and traveled around the USA for 6 months.

I find my inspiration in God, travel and people. I have visited over 40 countries and counting. I am always up for an adventure and planning my next trip. I love the philosophy that everything should be explored and experienced, at least once. I work in advertising and live in the eclectic city of Johannesburg. I help teach Sunday school in Diepsloot and occasionally lecture at universities.

I have always documented my travels for my mom and close friends but decided to create a travel blog to share this passion of mine with you too.
